Into Thin Air

I am watching "Into Thin Air" Cannot tell you how much I am enamoured of Everest.
Just some weird reason..I love this book..and am watching the movie on weather channel. Why is something that is unattainable, so beautiful, I don't know. It must be because it's a few that get to share the experience. That must be what makes it "special". What would you do if you could

Anything is possible:

I know what i would do...I would be in top physical shape...having trained for a year and summit Mt. Everest.


Then, I would be on my way to Colorado and do some skiing...taking my girls with me.

And then retire to the cabin that I have bought there and sit in front of a nice fire my hubby made and begin to write my book on Everest.
