Khimbu Ice Fall
Can you imagine going over the khimbu ice fall..that is where you get to quit..and what insanity. a crevasse that moves so if it happens to move when you are going across it...you may die.
Into Thin Air
I am watching "Into Thin Air" Cannot tell you how much I am enamoured of Everest.
Just some weird reason..I love this book..and am watching the movie on weather channel. Why is something that is unattainable, so beautiful, I don't know. It must be because it's a few that get to share the experience. That must be what makes it "special".
