Work at Home Story

Hello, My name is Holly Mann and I am 23-years-old. I am making
$12,000+ per month working online and I want to share my secrets, tips
and resources with you. There are a lot of scams out there involving
people who are trying to make quick cash and do not care about the
customers. I am not like that. I understand your skepticism, so
throughout this site I will be bluntly honest and provide as much
PROOF as possible. Some people know of me from my ebook that I sell
online, but not many people know my real story. I'll try to sum it up
for you. I am a single mom and disabled veteran of the U.S. Army. I
was Honorably discharged from the military at the age of 20 - after
serving as a military Journalist, Photographer and Website Designer.
Within one week of being released, I started in processing with an
overseas company to work as a civilian contractor in Baghdad, Iraq.
This was 6 months after the war started and I stayed there for 6
months - until I felt that it was entirely too dangerous.

"Why am I telling you all of this," you ask... I want people to know
that I am 'for real' and I am not a big time internet marketing guru
type who you can't relate to.
I started making money online when I was pregnant a couple of years
ago. I started out on ebay, selling websites to mortgage and loan
officers. That made me about $900.00 per month. But that involved A
LOT of manual work, it was time-consuming and I wanted to create
something that would become an automated income stream. I then became
an affiliate with a web hosting company called Wild West Domains. I
would sell hosting plans to most of my ebay customers who purchased
websites. I still make about $150.00-400.00 per month from that (and
that was well over a year ago when I brought customers to my affiliate
hosting company).

http://www.honestriches.com/?hop=amomslove

So I started reading more, developing many more websites. I didn't
realize how profitable the internet was at that time. I began
profiting more and more, but it just didn't "click" for me then. I was
just like the majority of us Internet surfers who are trying
desperately to find a way to make money online. I created numerous
websites, promoting affiliate programs. One was: eHostingInfo.com and
I would refer ebay customers to that site and get $100.00 commission
per sale. Besides that and some other affiliate niche sites, I began
creating sites which profited from Google AdSense Ads. I also figured
out some Amazing FREE advertising techniques and Search Engine
Optimization tools and techniques. I even had a Search Engine
Optimization software program created called Content King (just
released). It is what I use to save me time so I can quickly optimize
my websites.

Although I started working online and designing sites 5 years ago, it
took a few years worth of knowledge all jumbled in my head for me to
finally have an epiphany. I came across a website online by a well
known internet marketer (self-proclaimed). I am not going to say who
this was because many people know him anyway. But when I saw his
website and the idea behind it - the concept - and how he was
profiting from affiliates promoting his ebook - it all made sense to
me. I didn't want to spend $97.00 on his ebook about making money
online. But, his sales letter was overwhelmingly appealing and made me
want to buy it. So, I went in with a few friends and split the cost.
After reading it, I realized that I knew almost everything in that
ebook already...except for the part about writing a killer sales
letter (I'm not the best salesperson) and one other tip that helped me
increase profits a little bit. Not only did I know what he was
detailing in his ebook, but I knew more ways to make money online
without start-up money. Ways to profit right away, without investing.
SEO techniques that he didn't even mention. So, I wrote my very own
ebook and went up against this well-known internet marketer and I've
had great success with it. I love opening my inbox to read "thank you"
emails and success stories every day from happy customers whose lives
have changed.

Prior to this, when I was pregnant and trying to live off of my ebay
income, I was struggling badly. I was receiving a disability check
from the military and trying to make it by on that. My son's father
and I are separated and I lived at my brother's house in a small room
with my young baby. I didn't want to owe anyone anything. I didn't
want to be dependent on my brother or anyone else for help. So, I sold
everything I owned and I moved to Thailand - a country which I lived
in 3 times before. I knew what I needed was TIME. My son had colic and
acid reflux so the first 6 months of his life involved a lot of crying
and not a lot of time for me to work. I knew if I went to Thailand
then I could afford to live there and I could use my time there to
develop more stable internet businesses - allowing me to create
several income streams. It was quite difficult when I first arrived
there with my baby. It was difficult to work online while my computer
connection was only 24 kbps and it took me over an hour to publish one
website. I went from $700.00 per month (not even a lot in Thailand) to
$12,000.00 per month within 4 months flat.

So, I want to save you a lot of time and money by telling you the
Resources which have changed my life and the way I do business online.
"Why am I sharing this info?" you ask...
I receive quite a few letters from people from all over the world. The
letters people email to me are sometimes extremely personal. I hear
from every single age group, from 15-70. I hear from people with
sicknesses, diseases, disabilities. I hear from single parents and
veterans. I want to help each person, but I don't have the time to be
a personal mentor or coach. So I am doing what I can with my free time
- to continually update my ebook with the best resources as well as
putting all my best resources on this website for all to see. I am
lucky that I have not spent thousands of dollars on get-rich-quick
schemes online. I haven't had to. Although I know how to make a good
living on the Internet, I always want to learn more and stay on top of
the ever-changing internet marketing world.

Affiliate Programs: Can I Really make Money?

Affiliate Programs: Can I REALLY Make Money?

As an Internet marketing consultant, I often hear the question, "Can I REALLY make money online with affiliate programs?"

To me, that question speaks of the asker's skepticism, so let's put aside any question of whether money is REALLY being made online before we look any further.

Thousands of merchants have put resources into developing affiliate programs so that others can promote their products in exchange for a commission, which is usually a percentage of the product's price. If there wasn't money to be made, Sony, Dell and those thousands of other merchants wouldn't waste their time and money building affiliate programs.

I personally know at least a hundred people who make marketing on the Internet their full-time occupation. If there wasn't money to be made, that wouldn't be possible.

I am one of those people. The secondary title of my ebook about affiliate marketing is 'How I Made $436,797 Last Year Selling Other People's Stuff Online'. Although I dislike that subtitleand its crass approach, it IS the truth, and it IS effective proof that money can be made online. The statement is backed up on the Super Affiliate Handbook homepage with a picture of part of my income tax statement from 2002 which shows my earnings.

See it for yourself at: SuperAffiliateHandbook

So, having dispelled any question about whether there is money to be made online, let's proceed to the REAL question. Let's take the emphasis off the word 'REALLY' and place it where it belongs - on YOU.

Can YOU really make money online?

Sure you can! IF you REALLY want to.

Desire is the first key to success. But here's where it gets a little tricky. If your desire is for money, as opposed to what money can buy, your work will be made much harder, if not impossible.

'Huh? Why is that?' you may wonder.

Money is a concept. In and of itself it does nothing for you, unless you are very fond of small rectangular pieces of colored paper.

If you focus instead on the good that money will bring to your life, such as free time and all the fun ways to spend it, then you'll give positive direction to your efforts.

Think about it.. what can that money buy you? The kids' education, a new car, a new house, a second honeymooon... how about a sailboat?

Dream a little - dream a LOT, but create some desire, and a REASON to work hard for what you want to achieve.

And that's the second key to making money online - Work.

Too many people still hold onto the notion of 'get rick quick'. I've got news for them - there's no such thing. You can get rich a little quicker on the 'net, but the truth is that nothing worth having comes without a price. You must invest some time and money.

Not much money, but some. Compared to starting any other business, the amount of financial investment required to start an affiliate marketing business on the Internet is negligible.

If you don't have one or two hundred bucks - or can't beg, borrow or steal that amount - then maybe you can get a part-time job and save up to start your online business.

No matter how you slice it, you won't find another opportunity anywhere that has the potential for this much reward for so little outlay. This IS one of the least expensive businesses you can start.

Last but not least - can you stick with it over the long haul?

Persistence is perhaps the MOST important quality shared by all entrepeneurs. That's why you hear about those who make a million, lose a million and then make another million. They go up, then down, then up again, but they never gave up.

You can't let the ups and downs get to you. Not everything is will go your way all of the time. You'll have to make some effort and it won't always be easy.

But, if you keep your goals foremost in your mind, learn what you need to know and invest your resources wisely and with persistence, you virtually can't help but succeed.

That's how you REALLY make money online!

Unfortunately for them, there’s a thing or two they don’t know about Bailey. Not only does he have great street smarts, he has great pals too. Bailey’s loyal guardian Ted (Dean Cain – TV’s Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), kind-hearted animal advocate Marge (Laurie Holden – Fantastic Four, The Majestic), her daughter Sam, and a clever border collie named Tessa set out on a hilarious madcap adventure to free their four-legged friend and put the nasty dognappers out of business—for good! Lost our Lady

Early morning Saturday, March 18, Lady passed away.
Bernie and Bridgette took her to five points vet.
Friday morning Charles noticed Lady had trouble standing and
she just fell over...but then did get up again.
When i popped in at 11 for lunch she met me on the porch and seemed fine
just what i thought was her normal arthritic struggle to stand up...
By the time Kelly got home from school Lady was not standing...not doing anything.
Everyone was very upset.
Her trip to the vet (at 8:30...they couldn't see her any earlier) where the vet said she had severe anemia and her liver looked very bad,
but the vet loaded her up with a vitamin shot and pills and she came home to Industry where
Bernie and Charlie carried her in and laid her on the kitchen floor on her black and red blanket.

She just laid there.

Bernie pet her and said goodnight to her about 1:30 and told Chuck to check on her before he went to sleep.

Chuck came up to our bedroom and said .....Look of extreme sadness....me: "I know Charlie, it's very sad." Chuck: "No, it's....." I said, "Is she dead?" chuck: Yes.

We are very sad.

Milk: To drink or not to drink...that is THE question

OK, I am sick of it... anytime, you read something and say, that really makes sense, hmm, I think I will do that, a minute later, after you do some digging, you find an entirely believable opposite opinion that makes you say, uh, well, that sounds good too.

Should we drink milk or shouldn't we? Anyone out there done any research on this subject...
Go here and read the reviews on Robert Cohen's "Milk, The Deadly Poison" Ther are 50 some reviews...go ahead and read most of them..and see why I am pulling my hair out.
Also, take a look at Cohen's website: http://www.notmilk.com

Fixins (food) to Watch The Steelers Tromp the Broncos

Chuck's Pittsburgh Steak Sandwich
I took Chuck to Primante's last week for a steak sandwich, so he said mom, let's make one at home and we went to the grocery store and this is what Chuck put together:
1 box of Sandwich steaks (Giant Eagle Brand)1 Loaf of Italian Bread (sliced thick)1 red onion (sliced thin)1 Bag Ore-Ida Extra Krispy Golden Krinkles1 bag of pre-made cole slawMarzetti's Cole Slaw dressingFrank's Red hot Sauce
Fry french fries then fry steak (45 seconds one side, 15 the other side) Place steak on one slice of Italian bread, pile some french fries on steak, layer with onions, layer on cole slaw you have mixed with cole slaw dressing and sprinkle with some hot sauce, place other slice of bread and take a bite. hmmm, sooo good.
This week, Charlie's girlfriend came over and we watched The Day After Tomorrow. (good movie) She said let's have a chicken wrap sandwich, so we went to the grocers and bought:
Shauna's Chicken Wraps
Boneless Skinless Chicken BreastsBig Flour Tortillas1 green pepper1 tomato1/4 red onion sliced thin1 can of black olives slicedRed lettuce1 bottle of ranch dressing
Cut up chicken into bite size pieces and saute' in olvie oil, dice pepper into small pieces, dice tomato. Warm tortillas in oven or microwave. To assemble open tortilla and put chicken then green pepper, tomato, onion, olives and ranch dressing. You can sprinkle some Frank's Hot sauce on it too.
Now that's good eating!

by Kelly McCausey

Internet Radio changed Kelly McCausey's business and it ended up changing her life.

In early 2002 Kelly turned to the internet to help her earn some extra money. She built her first business website to promote a freelance desktop publishing company that she would be doing from home to provide some much needed extra cash. Already employed full time, she just wasn't making enough money to make ends meet. As a single Mom, Kelly wanted to earn more without sacrificing the amount of time she had to be home with her son.

Interestingly enough, the only job offers that came her way were not to do desktop publishing but rather friends and acquaintences asked her to build them a website or to help with their web graphic needs. Just a few weeks later Kelly tweaked her website to highlight these services instead and she soon had a steady flow of clients.

It was in 2003 that she first learned about internet radio. A longtime audible learner, she searched for programs of interest and found one that talked often about internet business and occassionally highlighted a work at home Mom. She devoured the audio archives and couldn't wait to hear the next episode each week.

She became so enamoured with internet audio that she looked for ways to incorporate audio with her existing websites, choosing to launch a short audio newsletter for her work at home Mom directory website, USAWAHM.com . The newsletter was only five minutes a week and quickly grew a listenership.

Then the worst happened. The internet radio program that she enjoyed so much went off the air. After several weeks she realized it wasn't coming back and search as she might, there were no other programs out there with similar content. This got her thinking seriously about how to bring more audio content to the web for other Moms like her.

With the sponsorship of InternetBasedMoms.com, Kelly launched Work at Home Moms Talk Radio in November 2003. An independant internet radio show on a shoestring budget, the show had over 250 weekly listeners before the end of the year. When podcasting exploded in fall of 2004, Kelly jumped onto the podcast wave, further growing her listenership and increasing her excitement about audio on the web.

Kelly believes that more Moms should launch internet radio programs and podcasts on a wide range of family freindly topics. She created a tutorial that shows how it can be done and is forming a network of programs to help to co-promote one another's shows, The Mom Cast and Mom's Radio Network.

WAHM Talk Radio changed the face of Kelly's business. She rarely accepts design work and has instead developed a large portion of her income through affiliate marketing. She mentors other work at home Moms in creating successful online businesses as well.
While Kelly discovered that what you start out with is not always what you end up with in business, it is important to find something that you feel passionate about and will enjoy doing over the long term. Internet business success is cumulative and she feels that she is just now reaping the true profits from her many hours of hard work over the years.

Took the Tree Down

So sad, played Christmas carols for the last time.
Cleaned the corner out where the tree stood and packed
everything up.

Now I have to concentrate on redo-ing this house.
